My sis sat for her driving test last week. The road part went well, so did the three point turn and the parallel parking, however she lost out on the hill. She was pissed but determined to get it settled. So tues this week, she went for her re-take and passed her exam with no trouble. She told me later on, as her instructor drove her back, they started playing 'Won't Get Fooled Again' by the Who on the Radio, think it was Fly FM. Bloody cool man, bloody cool. She rang me early in the morn, and I tried my best to sound all excited but sleep is a powerful force and so I dished out a groggy 'congrats', but called her later in the day when I was more awake to give a proper one.
Yes Led Zepp are reuniting for a concert. Watch this space and Mojo FM for more news.
Was working last Sun and it was a very tiring week and weekend, what with all the assignments etc. Was really lacking tt spark at work, till they started playing Led Zepp songs, I really perked up when Stairway came on.
Stairway is one of those songs that I make sure I hear only once a month, to give me that boost. And it works like a charm. Whether its fatigue, or just being down, that song does miracles. Simply lovely.
Oh yea my sis promised to pick me up from the airport when I get back for summer. I am already setting up a nice little song playlist for that journey back.
The future seems even more uncertain now. But hey as long as it makes me feel alive and not jaded, its all good.

What holiday?
5.05 am, and yes, what bloody holiday? Rubbish man. Just busy preparing for an exam, writing up a parasitology essay and working (well working is ok, cos the money is good, though 3 days in a row can be something else).
Promised myself and told my housemates that we gotta go somewhere for the October break, even if it's to bloody Mundaring for tt elusive World's Best Pizza that we keep talking about.
But thank god for jazz eh? Bloody geniuses. Same goes for the blues (hey thats where rock came from man), though when I say blues, I mean black man blues man. Sure, the white boys can play mean bluesy riffs, but only the black man can sing like he means it. Why oh why, cant the music of today be like that? I hope the poster sale comes to Murdoch soon, I ve already got my eyes on some Coltrane and Miles Davis posters.
So, thats about less than 3 months now? Good stuff......
I gotta mention this before my brain shifts into sleep mode. I heard from this dude who came in to the shop few weeks back, that Led Zepp are doing a reunion concert next year with Bonham's son. Naturally I did not believe him, as he was a stoner and quite drunk. But then last night I read it in some music mag in the shop. Apparently this rumour has some substance and there might be plans to play in the UK next year (cool it all ye loyal fans, still a rumour yea).
You do not know how much I am willing to pay if it happens......

Essay block
It's 5.15 in the morn, and the essay was goin beautifully till a block set in. Bloody annoying. Thank god for Regina Spektor, John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk.
Random Thoughts flying through my mind (possibly the reasons for the block);
1. Whats with kids killing kids? When did adults pass on this disease?
2. I hope my sis passes her driving test in a few hours time
3. Whats the first thing I should do when I get home????
4. I need to run more
5. Whats the view like from Kinabalu?
